A surgical procedure that will define or increase the size and shape of the buttock area.

A part of the body not easily enlarged, shaped by weight training or diet is the buttocks region. People who wish to enlarge, lift, the buttock mounds may do so with fat grafting.
Generally anyone in good physical condition and in good health may be a good candidate for buttock augmentation.

SURGERY OVERVIEW:

Liposuction is performed usually from the belly but other donor sites such as the back and thighs may be used. The fat is then injected into the buttock to modify the size and shape.

Since this is an area of the body that is required for walking, sitting, and so many other movements, patients might experience greater pain during the recovery period Pain. medication is prescribed but after the first week or so the patient can be up and about more comfortably.

Swelling and bruising remain for a few weeks so the final results may not be fully seen early on. Full physical activities are usually permitted at about 6 weeks. The patient wears a support garment for a few weeks.  Activity is limited and no sitting is permitted for several days.

It may take 6-8 months for final results to present.
